A motorist from Jacksdale who smashed her car into a
lamppost and failed to
provide a urine sample has been disqualified from driving for a year.
Sarah Louise Roberts, 37, of Westdale Road, had been driving in Pinxton, when she lost control of her car and collided with a lamppost.
Prosecuting solicitor Becky Allsop told Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court: “Miss Roberts was in the driver’s seat and was agitated with slurred speech. Police were concerned enough about her demeanour to carry out an impairment test. She was unable to stand on one leg and was swaying excessively.”
