Library learning day for Ripley folk

A fun library day is set to hit Ripley on Friday - aiming to teach townsfolk how to get the most out of their local resources.

There will be demonstrations and library staff will be on hand to show members of the public how easy it is to use the resources through their library membership to find information for work or pleasure.

The event, called the 24-hour information relay, at the Grosvenor Road library is also set to feature a visiting trainer from Encyclopaedia Britannica to show people how to use Encyclopaedia Britannica Online.

Activities are due to run from 11am until 4pm.
