Theft

Sarah Amy Smith, 32, of Willows Avenue, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing candle sets, jeans, boots and razors. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody after being released on bail. To be detained at the court house but detention at courthouse deemed served by time already spent in custody.

Robert Wood, 40, of Kipling Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat valued at £58.79 belonging to Lidl. Committed to prison for four weeks. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Liann Norman, 38, of Chapel Road, Grassmoor, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a large amount of food, household items and alcohol valued at £236.49 belonging to Morrisons Supermarkets. Admitted committing an offence during the operational period of a suspended custodial sentence order for possessing class A drugs, three thefts and for failing to surrender to custody. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to the suspended sentence of possessing 0.65grammes of diamorphine, stealing four bottles of perfume valued at £249.50 belonging to Debenhams, failing to surrender to custody, stealing a television valued at £149 belonging to Asda Supermarket and stealing groceries valued at between £80 to £100 belonging to the Co-op Supermarket. Committed to prison for 14 weeks.

Richard Harry Musgrove, 37, of Talbot Street, Hasland, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing goods valued at £563 belonging to Tesco Extra. Must pay £79 compensation and a £36 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. No separate penalty. Committed an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order for assaulting a police constable. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a suspended sentence order of assaulting a police constable. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Shinayde Theresa Ann Strachan, 28, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing steak valued at £27.25 belonging to Lidl. Pleaded guilty to stealing chocolate and J20 to the value of £20 belonging to Poundland. Pleaded guilty to stealing steak valued at £27.25 belonging to Lidl. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £180 and must pay £100 compensation. Admitted committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order for three thefts. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of theft which were subject to the suspended sentence order including stealing two baby milks valued at £22 belonging to One Stop, stealing seven bottles of washing liquid valued at £28 belonging to Tesco Express and stealing a Morphy Richards Blender valued at £19.99 belonging to Boyes store. Committed to prison for 28 weeks.

Siobhan Wilson, 27, of no fixed abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing four bottles of spirit alcohol valued at £113 belonging to Tesco Extra. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. Admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after release from imprisonment by failing to attend with a supervising officer. Committed to prison for six weeks.

Other

Tracey Jordan, 37, of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after release from imprisonment by failing to report to a relevant officer. Committed to prison for seven days.

Darren Snowdon, 32, of no fixed abode. Admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements after release from imprisonment by failing to attend with a supervising officer. Committed to prison for 14 days. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at approximately £35 belonging to B&M Bargains. No separate penalty.

Peter Rollinson, 46, of Townend, Shirland. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £80 and must pay £50 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

William Pointon, 34, of Aspin Court, Birdholme, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer. Order to continue but varied with a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement for 30 weeks with original Rehabilitation Activity Requirement to continue. Must pay £60 costs.

Oliver Thomas Wallace, 18, of Baden Powell Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to damaging a double-glazed glass panel of a door valued at £900. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £900 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ivan Jackson, 25, of Birchwood Crescent, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to committing fraud by making a false representation namely presenting a cheque he knew was fraudulent to Cash Generators to make a financial gain of £1,377.50. Must pay £1,377.50 compensation. Indicated a guilty plea to committing fraud in that he dishonestly made a false representation namely by knowingly presenting a fraudulent cheque to Ramsden Financial Services intending to make a gain of £792.50. Must pay £792.50. Committed fraud by making a false representation namely presenting a fraudulent cheque intending to make a gain of £1,680. Committed to prison for 17 weeks suspended for 12 months.

Kimberley Rachel Cross, 25, of Hucklow Avenue, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer. Order varied with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for up to 25 days and to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £60 costs.

Stephen Alan Eckhardt, 28, of Norwood Place, Killamarsh. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer. Order varied with a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for six weeks. Original Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and unpaid work to continue. Must pay £60 costs.

Ross Stuart Peter Kemp, 26, of Recreation Road, Shirebrook. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with the responsible officer. Order to be varied with 50 hours of unpaid work and original Rehabilitation Activity Requirement to continue.

Motoring

Brett Gill, 32, of Queen Street, South Normanton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £250 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Michael Jennings, 49, of Ladybower Lane, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Assault

Laura Dawn Musson-Jones, 27, of Middlecroft Road, Staveley. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Restraining order to last until August 1, 2017. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Tomasz Kleszyk, 37, of Main Street, Shirebrook. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Restraining order to last until May 2, 2018. Fined £317 and must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging a laptop valued at £400. Must pay £400 compensation.

Christopher Taylor, 44, of Dimple Road, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
