The latest Chesterfield magistrates’ court results are listed below as published in the May 5 edition of the Derbyshire Times.

Drugs

Bethany Paige Carter, 23, of Handley Road, New Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, a class B drug. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 2.2grammes of cannabis. Community order to last until April 21, 2017, with a Drug Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement with 40 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Tagg, 39, of Queen Victoria Road, New Tupton, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea possessing 0.45grammes of crack cocaine, a class A drug. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.66grammes of diamorphine, a class A drug. No separate penalty.

Motoring

Charlotte Ellen Harris, 21, of Station Road, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £160 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Luke Michael Alan Tuck, 24, of Willow Garth Road, Dunston, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to knowing that a vehicle had been taken without the consent of the owner and allowed himself to be carried on the vehicle. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dean Bestwick, 24, of Cedar Avenue, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle to which no test certificate had been issued. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael William Le Beau, 58, of Lucas Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £100 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Joseph Patrick Thorpe, 24, of Hazel Grove, South Normanton. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to stop. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with seven points.

Anthony Atkin, 49, of Recreation Road, Wirksworth, Matlock. Found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Michael Mogilka, 29, of Melrose Court, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £150 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Assault

Byron Hendry, 21, of Woodland Street, New Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £200 and must pay £50 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Bethany Lauren Dobson, 22, of Penncorft Drive, Danesmoor, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £250 and must pay £50 compensation and a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £83.

Yvonne Dianne Astle, 37, of Tapton View Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £162 and must pay £150 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £400 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging a gold chain. No separate penalty.

Ali Ben Akhter, 34, of Chesterfield Road, Middlecroft, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until April 26, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gareth William Cummings, 36, of Hipley Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until April 26, 2017. Fined £80 and must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Harry Musgrove, 36, of No Fixed Address. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Joanna Kerry Sparre, 38, of Mount Pleasant Road, Grindleford, Hope Valley. Indicated a guilty plea to committing fraud by producing a receipt for an item purchased earlier intending to make a gain with a £148 refund. Fined £138 and must pay a £148 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jason Anthony Neale Dluzewski, 34, of Church Street, Creswell. Indicated a guilty plea to receiving stolen goods valued at £150, namely a Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile phone. Community order to last until April 21, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £10 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Neil Spencer Cope, 41, of Cauldon Drive, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to shouting and making threats towards someone when he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to two counts of using threatening behaviour. Committed to prison for three weeks. Restraining order to last until April 24, 2019.

Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £220 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging a door valued at £200. Must pay £100 compensation. Pleaded guilty to damaging a window valued at £200. Must pay £200 compensation. Committed to detention in a Young Offenders’ Institution for 18 weeks.

Clive Jason Osborne, 46, of King Street, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until April 26, 2018, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Must pay £100 compensation. Indicated a guilty plea to intentionally exposing his genitals. Fined £80 and must pay £100 compensation and £170 costs.

Theft

Shaun Donald Nicholson, 46, of St Helen’s Street, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing domestic products belonging to Co-op Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £59.84 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admitted committing an offence during the period of a suspended sentence order for two thefts. Order to continue as being committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months with new and varied requirements including a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement.

Jade Michelle Stuart, 27, of Hanbury Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing grapes and yoghurt belonging to the Co-op. Must pay £4.50 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to making off without paying for a taxi to avoid a payment. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay compensation.

Stacey Adelaide Hollingworth, 34, of Hambleton Avenue, North Wingfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat belonging to Co-op. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.

Natasha Jane Thorley, 29, of Kirkstone Road, Dunston, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing items belonging to Pets at Home. Community order to last until April 25, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £80 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge for a theft. No action taken. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Fined £35.
