Theft

Scott Fraser, 44, of Park Street, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a DVD. Pleaded guilty to stealing toys and confectionary. Pleaded guilty to stealing DVDs and bedding. Community order to last until November 26, 2016, with 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £12.99 and £54.90 in compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £105 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Darren Michael Richardson, 34, of Oakamoor Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of wine valued at £7.19 belonging to the Co-op. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £7.90 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge.

David Gary Mills, 33, of No Fixed Abode. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing alcohol valued at £200 belonging to Asda. Indicated a guilty plea to another count of stealing alcohol valued at £185 belonging to Asda. Indicated a guilty plea to another count of stealing alcohol valued at £150 belonging to Asda. Must pay £200, £185 and £150 in compensation as well as a £180 courts charge.

Sharon Margaret Foster, 59, of Fairfield Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing aftershave and perfume valued at £134.94. Community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £10 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Jacob Adrian Michael Greenaway, 22, of School Lane, Wadshelf, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing beefburgers valued at £6 belonging to Tesco Express. Must pay £6 compensation and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. No separate penalty. Conviction of an offence while subject to a community order for the offences of two thefts and failing to surrender to bail. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of stealing soft drinks, headphones and a Kit Micro USB mobile phone charge and for failing to surrender to custody. Community order to last until November 30, 2016, with a rehabilitation activity requirement and 40 hours of unpaid work.

Glynn Smith, 44, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to four counts of stealing assorted clothing belonging to Asda. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 courts charge. Commission of a further offence during a suspended sentence order. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to the suspended sentence of stealing bedding. Committed to prison for 32 weeks.

Motoring

John David Legg, 46, of Church Street, Holloway, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Community order with a daily curfew from 10.30pm to 6am for four weeks. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for three years.

Christos Papamichael, 34, of Moorcroft House, Archdale Close, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and before it was recovered, owing to the driving of the vehicle, an accident occurred which caused injury to another person. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle when the proportion of a controlled drug in his blood exceeded the specified limit. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for two years with a 12 week curfew and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 36 months. Pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. No separate penalty. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 1.9grammes of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. No separate penalty.

Rohit Procash, 44, of Albert Road, New Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and a £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Clayton Slack, 27, of Wenlock Walk, Grassmoor, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle when the registration mark on the rear of the vehicle failed to comply with the Road Vehicles Regulations in that the font size was too small. Discharged conditionally for six months and must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Sheila Patricia Reuss, 73, of Starkholmes Road, Starkholmes, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Driving record endorsed with five points. Pleaded guilty to failing to report the accident to police. No separate penalty.

Jacek Szeliga, 30, of Alder Way, Shirebrook. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Dale Bowen, 21, of Chestnut Avenue, Ripley. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing a bladed article, namely a large knife in a sheath, in a public place without good reason. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months with a rehabilitation activity requirement and 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Ryan Shane Ferguson, 19, of Chestnut Avenue, Ripley. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing an air weapon, namely a black air rifle in a public place without reasonable excuse. Community order to last until November 30, 2016, with 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and pay £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Paul William Foster, 31, of West Street, Doe Lea, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. No separate penalty. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 1gramme of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence order for an assault. Order to continue and suspended sentence of 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 months for the offence of assault to extended to 22 months.

Michael Nicholls, 33, of Wikeley Way, Brimington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to contacting and stopping at the address of someone which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Nathan Joseph Cobb, 26, of Wordsworth Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Pleaded guilty to damaging an iPhone 6. Restraining order to last until December 1, 2016. Fined £250 and must pay £85 costs and a £180 courts charge and £500 compensation.
