YOUNGSTERS were decked out in denim for the day at Kilburn infant and Nursery School on Friday.
All of the school’s children took part in the national fundraising event ‘Jeans for Genes Day’.
The Pupils donated money to wear their favourite denims, with funds going to families across the UK whose lives are affected by genetic disorders.
The charity is aiming to raise £2.6 million this year.
Headteacher, Joanne Baillie, said: “At the school, we encourage the children to think about how healthy they are, and think about the lives of others who are not so fortunate.”
