Jobs are expected to be lost at the South Normanton offices of structural steel group Severfield-Rowen Plc.
Around 93 job losses are expected at the business’s manufacturing facilities in Lancashire and at the commercial offices, in South Normanton.
A spokesman said the cuts were needed to ‘address underlying operational inefficiencies’. The firm announced 50 redundancies in November after a profit warning. The Yorkshire-based company, which is the UK’s largest steel specialist, announced the start of a staff consultation period as part of the restructuring of its newly-formed Severfield-Watson Structures business.
