A RIPLEY man who broke the jaw of another man following an argument at a party has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Sandy Parker, 31, punched the 26-year-old victim in the face after they got into an argument at a party in Loscoe on February 19, 2011.
The victim suffered a broken jaw and had to have eight teeth removed.
Parker, of Mill Hill Close, Ripley, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He was jailed for 30 months following a hearing at Derby Crown Court on Friday, October 21.
