Ripley Town Council unveiled a £9,000 new play area featuring balance beams, a slide and a puzzle play area at Cedar Avenue. Town mayor Cllr Alwyn Bridge and deputy Roland Emmas-Williams are pictured with children from Ripley Nursery School.

Cllr Emmas–Williams said the new site will be of great benefit to Cedar Avenue families.

“Our next project is to put some play equipment on Porterhouse Road,” he added. “But there will be some consultation first.”
