Residents in Kirk Hallam have been highlighting issues for the police and partner agencies to tackle in the community.
On Tuesday March 20 local residents took to the streets on patrol as part of a ‘ward walk’.
Local Councillors, Erewash Borough Council Neighbourhood Warden and a Three Valleys Housing Officer also attended.
Pc Louise Stevenson, from the Safer Neighbourhood policing team, said: “The ward walks are based around inviting local residents to take a walk around their community to highlight any issues of concern.
“Partner agencies attended as not all issues raised can be tackle by the police, for example noise nuisance and dog fouling.
“Any local residents who wish to be involved in future ward walks, please contact a member of the Safer Neighbourhood policing team.”
