Estate agents, Your Move, have announced the launch of a new service designed to not only place customers in a more favourable buying position but which also actively promotes their individual property requirements - so sellers can come to them rather than the other way round.
Called the Hot Buyer Service it helps buyers, often first timers, to get their finances in place so that when an appropriate property is found they are in a better position than many to make an offer.
The added advantage is that if a suitable property is not on the market Your Move will take steps to advertise what they are looking for in the hope that a seller will come forward.
Paul Flitter, branch manager at Your Move in Chesterfield explained: “We appreciate that many buyers, particularly first time buyers, often ‘lose’ properties they have set their hearts on simply because, by the time their finances are sorted, it has been sold to another buyer.
“The new Hot Buyer Service, however, is designed to place them one step ahead of the competition so that as soon as a property becomes available they can confidently take action.
“In addition we’ll listen to their needs and if we have nothing currently available we’ll use special marketing techniques to find a property for them.
“That way we are not only promoting local demand but also helping those - who perhaps thought there would be little interest for their property – to sell. It really is a win- win situation.
“Our in-house mortgage advisor can assist with the Hot Buyer Service by researching thousands of mortgage products from a lender panel that is representative of the whole of the market and help in identifying which product is most suitable for the individual customer.
“Of course it’s not just about finding a mortgage either. Your Move will also be able to offer ongoing support while the mortgage application is being processed including making any necessary phone calls and identifying potential problems before they occur to minimise their impact.
