Heanor man charged with attempted murder after 21-year-old suffers puncture wound

A man has been charged with attempted murder after an incident at a house in Heanor.

Police were called to the property in Whysall Street at noon on Tuesday. A 21-year-old man was found inside with a puncture wound to his chest.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Donald Wilson, 20, of Whysall Street, Heanor, was charged with attempted murder and appeared before magistrates in Derby on Wednesday.

He will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, May 18.
