A LOCAL autism charity held stalls on Heanor market and at the ASDA store in Langley Mill which raised £190.

The Nottingham Regional Society for Adults and Children with Autism (NORSACA) events were organised to mark World Autism Awareness Day, which took place on Monday April 2.

Julie Briggs, manager in Heanor, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us at the events – they were a great way for us to help people understand the effect that autism can have on individuals and their families.”
