A REFURBISHED and extended pharmacy has launched in Crich this week.

Crich pharmacy has relocated its Market Place business to the village’s new medical practice at Oakwell Drive.

David Stephenson, who was the pharmacy manager at the Crich Market Place branch for over 20 years, was invited as guest of honour at the official opening.

Adrienne Brown, manager of the village pharmacy branch said: “We are very pleased with our new premises and the fact that we have been able to extend the ranges that we’re offering customers.

“The team and I look forward to welcoming our loyal customers back into the new pharmacy.

“We have extended the over the counter mother and baby ranges as we are now located near the Glebe Community Centre where mother and baby groups are regularly held.”

The new pharmacy proposes to offer a wide range of professional health check services, such as free blood pressure testing and diabetes check-ups.

Work was completed on the new £1.5million medical centre in July, with it opening earlier this month.
