Health workers create board game

A BOARD game developed by infection control experts from Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust has won a major award for making safety fun.

Playing the Infection Control Game has helped drive home safety messages for staff caring for patients on wards in the trust’s community hospitals across Derbyshire, including in Belper, Ripley and Heanor. The announcement of the award makes it possible to take the game to the next stage – developing it for a wider application for NHS staff working in different settings.
