The residents of both Codnor and Waingroves respectively will now have received a letter concerning the appeal put forward by Peveril Homes Ltd to erect 98 dwellings on Codnor Common farm land.
Please will all those residents who wrote letters last time against the proposal to build, put pen to paper and write again, (please ensure you add your names and addresses), as you can see by the letter from the council, three copies are needed, it could be one written and two printed, they must be submitted by February 1, 2012.
And it is to be hoped more parents of primary school children (Waingroves) show a bit more concern than last time.
I was amazed at some parents’ responses when we asked them to stand with us for the local papers, some were most concerned for the safety of the kiddies, others could not care less if this building does go ahead.
It will be a matter of time, don’t put your kiddies at risk. Three lines of objection is not much to ask.
It has to be one of the longest fights to retain open space in England, keep it up.
