The parents of Charlotte Blackman, who was killed in a landslide in Dorset last July, say the memorial fund set up in her honour has swelled to £10,000.
The fund aims to help vulnerable and autistic children by taking them on day-trips and holidays.
Kevin and Rachel Blackman now intend to buy a 15 seater mini bus with the money raised.
In May Charlotte’s friends from Derby university plan to climb Mount Snowdon, to further swell the fund. Head to www.charlotteblackmanmemorialfund.co.uk to donate.
