CAKES baked by pupils, parents and staff at Granby Junior School raised more tha £500 for charity.
Pupils took part in the Colossal Cake Sale and sold the sweet treats to raise cash for Help for Heroes.
They also held a raffle to boost the total.
Fay Stainsby, school PA, arranged the sale.
She said: “We were really pleased with the amount raised.
“All of the children had a wonderful time and we had lots of cakes brought in by staff, pupils and parents and everyone really enjoyed it.”
