Police in Amber Valley ran an operation over the Christmas period which focussed on domestic violence.
Operation Royle ran from December 23 to December 31 and saw extra resources put in place to provide additional response to reports of domestic abuse.
Insp Richard Smith who is in charge of policing in Amber Valley said: “We would like to raise awareness of domestic abuse at a significant time of the year. Officers will provide extra support in order to ensure our communities remain safe over the festive period.”
