The RIDDINGS over-50s Tuesday Club enjoyed their first outing of the year to picturesque city of York on Thursday, March 31.
A total of 47 members and friends joined the coach at the Riddings Community Centre, on West Street, on a dull but dry day and headed north.
After a half-way stop for coffee the club arrived in York just after 11am.
There was plenty to do with museums, churches, the minster, shopping, the river and markets, so that although it turned a little windy in the afternoon it was soon 4.45pm and time to return home.
The coach arrived back by 7pm after a good day out.
There is a waiting list for joining the club but anyone that is interested is welcome to talk to Brian and Elsie Mellors on 746333.
The photo shows some of the members on the York Minster steps in the city on the day.
The first York Minster was built for the baptism of the Anglo Saxon King, Edwin of Northumbria.
