A TWINKLE-toed dancer from Kilburn has been selected to represent England in the World Tap Championships.
Delighted Rebecca Crookes, 19, who used to be a member of the Vanessa Millar School of Dancing in Belper, will head to the competition in Germany at the end of November.
And not only will she be part of the team, Rebecca has also been chosen as one of the group’s solo dancers.
Rebecca, who has been part of the Tap Attack group since June, said: “I can’t believe I was chosen, but I am determined to do my best!
“I owe all my training to the Vanessa Millar School of Dancing. I wouldn’t be doing what I am now without it.”
Meanwhile, Dannielle Alldread, 20, who is a member of the Vanessa Millar school, has beat more than 100 people to a dance job aboard a P&O cruise ship. The work will take her to the Mediterranean and Caribbean over a seven month period.
