The latest Chesterfield magistrates’ court results are listed below as published in the Thursday, June 4 edition of the Derbyshire Times.

Assault

Stephanie Marriot, 30, of South Street, South Normanton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £73 and must pay £50 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gary Troke, 25, of Middlecroft Road, Staveley. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Community order to last until May 25, 2016, with a curfew and supervision. Restraining order to last until May 25, 2017. Must pay £100 and £150 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

Glyn Franklin Warriner, 46, of Linden Grove, Shirebrook. Pleaded guilty to assault and harassment. Community order to last until November 26, 2015, with a Building Better Relationships programme and supervision. Restraining order to last until May 26, 2020. Fined £150 and must pay £200 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Theft

Stuart Donald Stevenson, 24, of Lancaster Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a bottle of cider. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing three bottles of wine valued at £10 belonging to Premier Express. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £2.99 and £10 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Cavendish Silcock, 39, of St Augustine’s Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing three boxes of aftershave valued at £227 belonging to Debenhams. Community order to last until May 21, 2016, with a curfew for two months and a Thinking Skills programme. Must pay £73.50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of theft. No action taken on the breach.

Dean Michael Evans, 36, of Sterland Street, Brampton, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of wine and a bottle of cider valued at £12 belonging to the Co-op. Pleaded guilty to damaging the rear seat of a police vehicle. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months with an alcohol treatment requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay £12 compensation and £50 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge and a court charge of £150. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. No separate penalty.

Jacob John Pablo Woolley, 26, of Lilybank Close, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Admitted committing a further offence during a suspended sentence for assault. No adjudication. Convicted for assault. Committed to prison for 22 weeks. Must pay £100 compensation and a court charge of £150.

Shereece Emma Green, 21, of Poolsbrook Hotel, Staveley Road, Chesterfield. Found guilty of damaging a property through water damage. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months with supervision. Must pay £500 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge.

James Martyn Shaw, 31, of Poolsbrook Hotel, Staveley Road, Chesterfield. Found guilty of damaging a property and stealing fridge and freezer. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months with Employment, Training and Education activity requirement and supervision. Must pay £500 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge.

Tracey Gaskin, 51, of Alfreton Road, Codnor, Ripley. Proved in her absence that she was the keeper of five horses which were found straying on or at the side of a highway. Fined £400 and must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Rickie Kevin Jones, 30, of Compton Street, Holmewood, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to attempting to enter as a trespasser a building, namely a shipping container, at Ashover, with the intent to steal. Committed prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Harvey Musgrove, 35, of Manor Drive, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using racially aggravating threatening behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 18 months and must pay £100 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge. Admitted the commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for an offence of being drunk and disorderly. No action taken on the breach.

Pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. Fined £250. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Conviction of an offence while a community order for taking a vehicle without consent was in force. No adjudication. Dealt with for an original offence of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 12 months with supervision and a drug rehabilitation requirement and 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay compensation of £250 and an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 court charge.

David John Brough, 42, of Maple Drive, Creswell. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £650 and must pay a £65 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a court charge of £150. Disqualified from driving for 40 months.
