Police bid to trace paint stripper attack culprit

A search has been launched to trace the culprit of a paint stripper attack on a car in Ironville.

Sometime between 9.30pm on Tuesday, March 13, and 10am the following day, the substance was poured over the bonnet of a car on Market Place, Ironville causing damage to the vehicle.

A man was seen walking in the area at 11.30pm and police think he could help with their investigations.

He was wearing jeans/jogging bottoms, a baggy top, light coloured trainers, a baseball cap and was carrying a carrier bag.

He was walking towards some garages near to the Market Place.
