Man punched in face at park

A man was punched in his face during an attempted robbery at Riddings park.

On Sunday, November 9 at 3.30pm, a man was walking across the park, near the wooded area and cricket pitch, when he was threatened by a man asking him to empty his pockets.

The victim punched the man to his left cheek and ran from the park onto Parkside.

The man was described as white, between 6ft 1ins and 6ft 2ins tall and was wearing a dark coloured leather jacket with a dark scarf/balaclava over his face.
