Motoring

Jon Thomas Lowe, 35, of St Augustine’s Mount, Chesterfield. Drove a vehicle without due care and attention. Fined £450. Being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to other vehicles and not having given your name and address failed to report the accident at a police station. No separate penalty. Failed to stop after the accident. Fined £700. Must pay a £70 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence also endorsed with ten points. Used a vehicle without insurance. Fined £450.

James Spry, 29, of Roecar Close, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for three years.

Gerald David Bentley, 69, of Rushen Mount, Chesterfield. Drove a vehicle on a restricted road at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour. Fined £50 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.

Daniel Rawson, 25, of Annesley Lane, Selston. Used a vehicle without insurance. Discharged absolutely. Drove a vehicle while carrying a child in the rear of the vehicle of or over the age of three years but under the age of 14 years who was not wearing a seat belt. Fined £102 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £35 costs.

Derek Cresswell, 68, of Maple Avenue, Ripley. Drove a vehicle while not wearing a seatbelt. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Used a vehicle without a test certificate. No separate penalty.

Assault

Mark Richard Sowter, 29, of Dale Road, Matlock. Two counts of assault. Committed to prison for 16 weeks. Restraining order until November, 2015. Must pay £50 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a conditional discharge of damaging a vehicle wing mirror valued at £150. No separate penalty. Dealt with for an original offence which was subject to a conditional discharge of using threatening behaviour. No separate penalty.

Carly Marie Woolley, 25, of Welbeck Street, Creswell. Failed to comply with a community order by failing to complete a number of hours of specified work and failed to keep in touch with the responsible officer. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of two assaults which were subject to a community order. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months with a thinking skills programme and supervision.

David neil Dooley, 43, of Thirlmere Road, Chesterfield. Assault. Fined £55 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Hicklin, 55, of Priestley Avenue, Stretton. Assault. Community order until December, 2015, with unpaid work for 80 hours. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Luke booker, 23, of Moorland View Road, Walton, Chesterfield. Assault. Fined £36 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ashley Crookes, 27, of Stanier Way, Renishaw. Assault. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months. Must take part in a Building Better Relationships programme with supervision. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Terry Michael Wilson, 33, of Park Road, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order until December, 2016. Must participate in an alcohol activity requirement and Building Better Relationships programme. Restraining order to last until December, 2016. Fined £56 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Ansell, 34, of John Street, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order until December, 2016, with 100 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order to last until December, 2015. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jamie Kyle Edson, 20, of Brookhill Avenue, Pinxton. Assault. Community order until June, 2016, with alcohol activity requirement and Building Better relationships programme. Fined £73 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gary David poole, 50, of South Street, Riddings. Harassment. Restraining order until November 27, 2016. Fined £320 and must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Matthew Devine, 27, of Grangewood, Chesterfield. Contravened a direction given by a constable under the Anti-social Behaviour Act that as part of a group he was required to disperse. Committed to prison for two weeks consecutively to 12 weeks imposed on an activated suspended sentence. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence for an offence of theft. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of stealing confectionary valued at £7 belonging to Poundland in respect of which a suspended sentence had been made. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Overall length of sentence 14 weeks.

Paul Ryan Sloan, 19, of Lower Somercotes, Somercotes, Alfreton. Used threatening behaviour. Fined £37 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Failed without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody. To be detained in the courthouse but detention was deemed served by reason of time already spent in custody.

Kane Liam Chatterton, 18, of Mill Lane, Codnor. Drunk and disorderly behaviour in public. Fined £100 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Daniel lee Parkes, 38, of West Street, Chesterfield. Damaged billboards and a banner belonging to Highfield public house. Community order until August, 2015, with supervision. Must pay £100 compensation.

Maria Alicia nelson, 29, of Greenhill Lane, Riddings, Alfreton. Damaged CCTV equipment to a value unknown. Stole seven pairs of ladies’ underwear of a value unknown. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Jaymz Bell, 22, of Mercaston Close, Holme Hall, Chesterfield. Failed to comply with a community order. Dealt with for the original offence subject to the community order of damaging a door. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months with 70 hours’ unpaid work.

Theft

Julie Louise Hoddinott, 31, of High Street, Belper. Stole a bottle of vodka valued at £7.99. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months with supervision. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

John Andrew leonard, 30, of Hallfieldgate Lane, Shirland, Alfreton. Stole razor blades valued at £96 belonging to Wilkinson’s. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew edley, 23, of Gray Street, Clowne. Stole a wallet and mobile phone, driving licence, credit and debit cards of a value unknown. Fined £73 and must pay £400 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Stacy Louise Smith, 30, of Brockhill Court, Brimington, Chesterfield. Stole two electric razors valued at £250 belonging to Argos. Stole a swimming costume and gloves valued at £11.48 belonging to Sports Direct. Stole a telephone, perfume and earphones valued at £69.97 belonging to Boyes. Failed to surrender to custody. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Drugs

Joshua luke Yates, 18, of St John’s Road, Unstone, Dronfield. Possession 2.7grammes of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B. No separate penalty. Possession of 1.5grammes of cannabis. Fined £202 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
