The latest Chesterfield magistrates’ court results as published in the Thursday, April 28 edition of the Derbyshire Times, are listed below.

Drugs

Steven Barthorpe-Stancill, 35, of Prospect Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea possessing heroin, a class A drug. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admitted committing a further offence during a suspended sentence for driving while disqualified. Dealt with for the original offence of driving while disqualified which was subject to a suspended sentence. Suspended sentence varied to a term of 12 weeks suspended for one year with a Drug Rehabilitation Activity requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Lee Andrew Bramall, 49, of North Road, Clowne. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.18grammes of diamorphine, a class A drug. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to dishonestly using electricity without authority. No separate penalty.

Motoring

Peter Gascoyne, 63, of Thunstall Way, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Grant John Charles Cook, 32, of Fairwinds Close, Dronfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen as part of an investigation into whether they had committed an offence when they were suspected of having driven a vehicle. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Pleaded guilty to a second count of failing to provide a specimen. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £620. Disqualified from driving for 36 months. Committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for 12 months with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 120 hours of unpaid work.

Nathan James Kirkley, 36, of Dale Road, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months with a 12 week curfew with electronic monitoring and 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 32 months.

Kevin John Burton, 50, of Walton Drive, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Assault

Natasha Sarah Louise Lankford, 34, of St Margaret’s Drive, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at £9.99 belonging to Lidl. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Indicated a guilty plea to two counts of knowing that payment for a taxi journey was required when she made off without paying. Committed to prison for 16 weeks.

Michael Spicer, 47, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to assault. Must pay £50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £250 costs. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months for a theft. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence for the theft of cheese and meat which was subject to the conditional discharge. Community order to last until April 17, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Michaela Joy Stewart, 22, of Troughbrook Road, Hollingwood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing Special Brew Lager valued at £7.30 belonging to Tesco Metro Store. Committed to prison for six weeks. Must pay £7.30 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge.

Shaun Thomas Leatherland, 32, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to assault. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. Restraining order. Must pay £200 compensation.

Marie Taylor, 37, of Devonshire Drive, Creswell. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until April 18, 2017, with a curfew with electronic monitoring for ten weeks with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Must pay £50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Other

Matthew Michael Coe, 29, of Haycroft Gardens, Mastin Moor, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to having an offensive weapon, namely a butcher’s scimitar, in a public place. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for one year with a six-week curfew with electronic monitoring and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Ford Focus belonging to Perry’s East Midlands Ltd. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to damaging a front door. No separate penalty.

Shane Hamilton, 24, of Shaw Street, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with a community order in that they failed to report to the relevant officer. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to the community order of damaging a door and an assault. Failed to surrender to custody. Community order to last until October 17, 2016, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Declan John Webster, 27, of Spital Lane, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £172 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Franics Raymond A Kiffin-Bruce, 27, of No Fixed Abode. Failed to comply with supervision requirements relating to residing permanently at an address as imposed after release from imprisonment. Committed to prison for 14 days.

Linda Joyce Johnson, 57, of Alfreton Road, South Normanton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £60 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Adam Lane, 35, of High Street, Clay Cross. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Vauxhall Corsa. Community order to last until April 19, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 80 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order. Must pay £3,500.11 in compensation.

Leah Louise Smith, 34, of Southgate Way, Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order after she failed to report to a relevant officer. Community order varied with a Drug Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and to continue with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Alfie Doug Georgie Williams, 19, of Boughton Lane, Clowne. Admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to report to the relevant officer. Order varied to include 90 hours of unpaid work and supervision to continue.

Leyton Reece yates, 19, of Atlow Close, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to perform work as directed. Community order revoked. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a community order of having a knife in public without good reason. Community order to last until April 20, 2017, with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £20.

Theft

Cameron Jake Coulter, 25, of Deepdale, Ironville. Pleaded guilty to stealing a shopping basket and contents. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £48 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Kathryn Irons, 34, of Welbeck Street, Creswell. Pleaded guilty to stealing washing detergents, fabric conditioners and alcohol. Must pay £51.57 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat, alcohol and groceries belonging to the Co-op. Must pay £50 compensation. Discharged conditionally for six months. Admitted failing to comply with a community by displaying unacceptable behaviour and failing to report to an officer. Community order varied with Alcohol Treatment Requirement and to continue with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Donna Lynne Wilson, 43, of Elmton Road, Creswell. Pleaded guilty to stealing washing detergents, fabric softeners and alcohol. Discharged conditionally for six months and must pay £51.57 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.
