Drugs

Robert Bower, 41, of Prospect Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to producing six cannabis plants regarded as a controlled class B drug. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 courts charges.

Motoring

Ann Edna Flanagan, 61, of Jura Avenue, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £195 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Wayne Wheeldon, 29, of Hunloke Road, Holmewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to report the accident to police. Fined £160 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points.

Theft

Garry Newton, 45, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing aftershave. Pleaded guilty to stealing two razor blades. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge. Admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after a release from prison in that he committed another offence breaching his licence condition. Committed to prison for 18 weeks.

Kizzy Romany Horden, 30, of Macclesfield Road, Buxton. Found guilty to stealing a bicycle. Found guilty of dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods namely hair straighteners and an air pistol. Pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for ten weeks suspended for 12 months with a rehabilitation activity requirement.

Tyrone Carl Walker, 23, of Boythorpe Crescent, Boythorpe, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a crate of Fosters lager belonging to Tesco Extra, in Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Community order to last until September 20, 2016, with 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £26 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Daniel Richard Clark, 22, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing two boxes of chocolates valued at £9.20 belonging to Spar. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Community order to last until September 21, 2016, with a thinking skills programme, rehabilitation activity requirement and 40 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay £9.20 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Mark Andrew Foster, 36, of York Crescent, Doe Lea, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to attempting to steal a drill valued at £92 belonging to B&Q. Community order to last until November 17, 2015, with a curfew for eight weeks with electronic monitoring. Must pay £40 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Assault

Michael George Baxter, 48, of Sitwell Avenue, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Angela Wall, 37, of Bradshaw Road, Inkersall, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £200 and must pay £150 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Wayne Andrew Allen, 25, of Green Street, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until September 22, 2016, with a curfew for 14 weeks and electronic monitoring and a thinking skills programme and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay £50 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Louise Camm, 40 , of Vicarage Close, Swanwick, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £80 and must pay £50 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Jake Timothy Jon Harrison, 19, of Cornwall Drive, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Sony Xperiaz1. Must pay £480 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £150 costs and a £150 courts charge. Pleaded guilty to assault. Must pay £100 compensation. Community order to last until March 22, 2017, with a building better relationships programme, a rehabilitation activity requirement and 80 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order imposed and to last until September 22, 2017.

Thomas Edward Sharpe, 55, of Swan Court, Argyll Road, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Daniel Marshall, 31, of Meadow Road, Holmegate, Clay Cross. Pleaded guilty to damaging a glass window valued at £143 belonging to Chesterfield Borough Council. Fined £120 and must pay £143 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and costs of £150.

Andrew Joseph Strong, 30, of Damon Drive, Brimington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to entering the kitchen of The Ark Tavern as a trespasser and stealing £80. Community order to last until September 22, 2016, with 80 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Shane Michael Hancock, 32, of Union Street, South Normanton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to harassment. Community order to last until September 22, 2016, with 120 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order to last until September 22, 2017. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
