The latest Chesterfield magistrates’ court results as published in the July 9 edition of the Derbyshire Times are listed below.

DRUGS

Clive Donald Colledge, 43, of Nottingham Road, Ripley. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.5grammes of cannabis and to possessing 1.6grammes of amphetamine. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gary Peter Marriott, 40, of Overdale, Matlock. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 35.7grammes of cannabis. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

MOTORING

Joan Crookes, 69, of Larch Avenue, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £865 costs and a £150 court charge. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Daniel Terry Parker, 29, of Burnshaw Street, Stretton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a court charge of £150. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

THEFT

Lindsay Ann McMillan, 36, of Lea Court, Newland Dale. Pleaded guilty to stealing DVDs. Community order to last until June 25, 2016, with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £80 costs and a £150 court charge.

Sheryl Anne Brown, 47, of Lea Court, Newland Dale, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing DVDs. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a court charge of £150. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 18 months for a theft. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of theft which was subject to the conditional discharge and involved attempting to steal cosmetics. Committed to prison for eight weeks concurrently suspended for 12 months.

OTHER

Dalian Bentley, 25, of Rodsley Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to damaging a large shop window. Must pay £895 compensation and a £150 court charge.

Gary Patrick Thwaites, 52, of Flamsteed Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £110 and must pay £85 costs and a court charge of £150.

Tadeusz Robert Gajewski, 42, of Windmill Rise, Somercotes. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £300 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Leslie Charles Salmon, 42, of Cobnar Drive, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admits committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for using threatening behaviour. Dealt with for the original offence of threatening behaviour. Fined £40.

ASSAULT

Neil Gary Baker, 38, of Peterdale Close, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until June 25, 2016, with 100 hours’ unpaid work. Must pay £200 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Shona Jordan, 40, of Mettesford, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order until June 25, 2016, with a 16 week curfew and a rehabilitation requirement. Must pay £200 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £620 costs.
