AN ANTI-SOCIAL tenant has been evicted after several complaints from a Langley Mill neighbourhood.

Police officers received a number of calls complaining about tenants living in a Derwent Living housing association property on Station Road.

Reports received included under age drinking, noise and general anti-social behaviour issues.

PC Chad Critchley, from Langley Mill Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Following complaints from members of the community we acted quickly and worked with Derwent Living to address the issues raised.

“Derwent Living successfully evicted the tenant as a result of the calls received.

“This is a good example of partnership working and how a problem can be quickly and easily resolved.”
