Police are appealing for information after a distinctive mountain bike was stolen from a shed in Heanor.

The bike was taken sometime between 11.55pm on Monday, October 21, and 7.30am on Tuesday, October 22 from a shed on Wilmot Street.

Thieves broke into the shed by removing a window.

The stolen bike is an ‘Orange Five Pro’ which is matte black in colour.

It has a pair of Fox Tails ‘R’ forks and a large number 5 on the frame.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the theft.
