Fuel raids target Ripley businesses

Diesel thieves targeted two Ripley businesses in the space of a week.

In the first incident, a large amount of diesel was siphoned from a lorry parked at AB Gee toy makers on Asher Lane Business Park sometime between noon on Sunday, August 11, and 2pm the following day. Police say the thieves would have needed a vehicle and a large fuel drum during the raid.

Then between 6pm on Wednesday, August 14 and 10am the next morning, fuel was taken from two lorries at HSC Construction at High Holborn Road. Police say thieves would have jumped a perimeter fence to get into the compound. Witnesses should call on police on 101.
