Burglaries at homes in part of Ripley are on the decline, says police officer

BURGLARIES at commercial properties in Peasehill are on the decline, a meeting of Ripley Town Council has beens told.

PC Mark Reddish said the increased presence of officers in the area has resulted in the improvement. “I am not aware of any problems since,” said PC Reddish.

Meanwhile a meeting of the Ripley town Safer Neighbourhood panel will take place on Monday, October 3, at 6pm in the town hall. The public are welcome to attend to raise any concerns.
