Police in South Normanton and Pinxton are set to tackle inconsiderate parking, speeding cars and nuisance motorbikes after a meeting.
More than 40 people attended the meeting at The Post Mill Centre in South Normanton on Wednesday, April 23, where residents spoke to PCC Alan Charles after he completed a walkabout in the area, and visited every home on Princess Avenue and Eastfield Drive, South Normanton.
Sergeant Simon Street said: “We were very pleased with the turnout we received at the meeting, and the response from the local community.
“Many of the agencies we worked with also offered good feedback, and PCC Alan Charles said it was one of the best attended events he had held with a local policing team.”
Residents can also contact officerswith their concerns at their regular monthly surgeries on 6pm and 7pm on the second Wednesday in every month at Pinxton Village Hall, and on the second Thursday in every month at The Post Mill Centre in South Normanton.
