Coast to coast for fund

The Charlotte Blackman Memorial Fund has received a cheque from Amcor Flexibles of Ilkeston at a presentation at the Butchers Arms pub, Heanor. The fund was set up to remember Charlotte, a 22-year-old girl from Heanor, who was crushed under 400 tonnes of rock in a beach landslide in Dorset in 2012.

The charitable group from the Ilkeston packaging firm cycled across the UK coast to coast earlier in the year raising an impressive £1,320.

The memorial fund raises awareness and vital funds for local charities and organisations that support autistic and vulnerable children.
