Choregrapher at arts school

A CELEBRITY choregrapher is helping a Selston Arts and Community College dance class grow in numbers.

Gareth Woodward, who has worked with celebrities such as Cheryl Cole and Take That, is now holding dance workshops with school’s performing arts students.

During the sessions students are learning the history of dance, different styles and how to choreograph routines.

The dancing specialist has been with the school five weeks and has already helped the group to perform at Nottinghamshire Showcase 2012, in Mansfield last month. Specialist and performing arts subject leader Alex Pickering, said: “The group is constantly expanding and working towards their next project.”
