HEANOR Rotary Club has handed over cash to help support a football project for youngsters.
The group has given £500 to the Heanor and Langley Mill Football Project.
The money will go towards the cost of training sessions held at Aldercar Community Language College.
The sessions are held on the Dalton’s Close college’s playing field and are staged on Wednesdays.
They are aimed at boys and girls aged between seven and 19.
The sessions are run by Hannah Inglis, of Amber Valley Housing.
A spokesman for the Rotary Club said after handing over a cheque for the amount: “The Rotary Club of Heanor is pleased to support worthwhile projects of this kind which involve youngsters.
