Pop stars of the future on a Ripley music course are appealing for townsfolk to donate unwanted instruments.
Course leader of the Acorn Training Academy sessions Kevin Brown said he his hoping for anything from speakers and microphones - through to guitars, keyboards, even sheet music and books to keep the course going.
The former Beautiful South saxophonist said : “It pains me when I see good instruments going unused. It will go to good use I assure you. We don’t have the money to get all new stuff and we need instruments desperately for the young people to learn on!”
