Stall holders needed for town’s market

Traders are being sought to take up stalls at the growing market days in Heanor.

Heanor Traders’ Association officially took over the running of the town’s market in August, and the move has so far seen two more stall holders take up pitches on a Saturday.

A new men’s clothing and a womens’ fashion stall have also taken up pitches on Friday.

But market manager Ella McManus, is urging sellers of shoes and handbags, home furnishings, children’s clothes and Christmas goods, to get in touch – as these would add more variety to the
products on offer there.

The association also plans to begin running a farmers’ market in Heanor soon - and Ella would like farm produce traders to get in touch too.

She said: “It’s all about
getting people back up to the Market Place to have a look – we want the people in
Heanor to support the new traders coming into town.”

To get in touch with Ella email marketmanager@heanormarket.co.uk, or call 07447252419.
