Ripley restaurant opportunity

Restaurateurs are being sought to turn a retail unit into a succesful eatery in Ripley.

The owners of a retail unit at Taylor’s Mill on Wellington Street announced this week that A3 restaurant permission has been attained for the site and is now looking for a fine dining restaurant to take it over.

The 3,000 sq ft property, currently occupied by a second hand shop, is owned by consortium Freedom to Retire. The current lease there has expired.

A spokesperson for the group said: “It is ideal for a national brand extending their chain. There’s no other fine dining restaurants in the immediate area that we’ve found.”
