FAMILY and friends of soldier who had post traumatic stress disorder and took his own life will be walking from Crich in his memory to raise money for The Royal British Legion and Joint Forces Alliance, and to raise awareness of the condition among former members of the Armed Forces.
They will walk in memory of Ashley Clarkson starting at Crich Stand to going to his home town of Mansfield Woodhouse on July 29. The 23-year-old former soldier died in March.
A Legion spokeswoman said it was truly grateful when anyone raised money. In this case it would be especially poignant as it was in memory of a brave man.
