READING enthusiast Caroline Evans gets stuck in to some of the titles on offer at her new book shop on Church Street, Ripley.
The store opened its doors on Saturday and will be selling a range of children’s, teen and adult fiction alongside a collection of second-hand books.
The Book Boutique also stocks the Galaxy ‘Quick Reads’ selection and The Specsavers TV Book Club range. A loyalty card scheme will run where customers can receive money off their next buys. The shop will also stock retro furniture.
Caroline, a 26-year-old from Ripley Road, Sawmills, owned a cafe in Heanor when she was just 19.
She said: “Me and my mum always loved books and have always spent too much money on them. We just saw that Ripley was lacking in a book shop. It is so exciting to be doing something you enjoy.”
