A TEDDY bears’ picnic at Corfield CofE Infant School saw pupils say a big thank you to local resident, Brenda Meakin.

Mrs Meakin and her husband, Archie, helped improve the school grounds with their home-made wooden pictures. They a also funded a day out for the children at Gulliver’s Kingdom last year. Unfortunately Mr Meakin has since passed away. Last month the children presented Mrs Meakin with two special bears they had made at ‘Build a Bear’ as a way of saying thank you for the help she has given to the school.
