A HEANOR shop invited customers along to a day of Hallowe’en inspired activities on Monday.

Magic and Moonbeams on High Street held a special late opening for Monday’s yearly spooky event.

Shoppers indulged in crystal and psychic healing sessions.

A medium was on hand for participating townsfolk to contact members of the other side, while others gained insight into their future by taking a tarot reading.

At 7.30pm, local author Adam Greenwood enchanted listeners with tales of terror and urban myths from the Heanor area.

Magic and Moonbeams opened in July 2010, selling hand crafted jewellery, gifts, crystals vintage clothing, handbags and more.

It also offers a number of therapies from crystal therapy to aromatherapy.

Shop owner Dorn Bankroft was a community development worker with the NHS before she decided to open the spiritual shop in the town.

She said: “What an amazing All Hallows Eve Celebration, thank you so much for all who came to enjoy the festivities. We cant wait to see you next time.”
