A Ripley schoolgirl hopes to raise £3,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital with a show she is organising.
Amy Horsley, 15, will be hosting the event at Antony Gell school in Wirksworth on April 2 and 3.

There will be dancing, singing, raffles, stalls, and special guests including Paul Cowpertwaite who won Stars In their Eyes Kids as Michael Jackson.

Amy has also contacted a number of groups who have donated to her campaign. So far West Midlands Safari Park, GMTV, This Morning and the Paul O' Grady show have all helped out, as well as Centre Parks who have given £1000.

Amy said: "I just thought it would be good to do something. I never thought I'd be able to do this. I could have quit at the first hurdle but I wanted to prove myself wrong."

Amy's Show starts at 7pm. on both nights and entrance is £5.
