Fun games and activities at a summer fair held at Langley Mill Infants School raised £1,200 for a wildlife garden that will be developed at the school.
The event at the Sedgwick Street school, sponsored by Dominos Pizza was well attended and included tombola, raffle, face painting, a cake stall, bric-a-brac and games.

Jill Morgan, a member of the parents' association said: "All in all it was a really brilliant event and the first one we had held for a while. It was well worth it."

Visitors also enjoyed a chocolate fountain and pizza donated by Dominos helped boost funds.
