RIPLEY youngster Edward Bright is 'ecstatic' after receiving £10,000 from former footballer Dennis Wise for a new pair of running legs.
The ten-year-old, who lost his lower arms and legs to meningitis three years ago and needs prosthetic limbs to walk, has been waiting months for two pairs of his legs that were taken back to hospital for alterations.

Following a desperate appeal in The Sun newspaper by his dad Steve, former Chelsea and England midfielder and Leeds manager Dennis Wise, 43, contacted the family and offered them the money needed for new legs.
