A FUN day organised by youngsters in Pinxton raised more than £1,000 for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.
The teenagers worked with youth workers from Buzz Ticket youth group to organise the event on Sunday June 29 and this week a cheque for £1,055 was presented to Andy Shields of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Mick Mottershead of Buzz Ticket said: "It was a sensational day and we are so proud of the time and effort the young people of Pinxton have put into making the day a great occasion for the village."
