YOUNGSTERS from Ironville and Codnor Park Primary and Swanwick Hall schools take part in a national project to boost awareness of Britain’s waterways.

This picture was taken in 1992 at Codnor Park Reservoir.

The project was organised with the help of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and Amber Valley Groundwork Trust. It saw the children get involved in projects including mapping sections of the Cromford Canal, which connects to the reservoir.
