McClean’s on the team again

MOTORMOUTH Mancunian Mike McClean has signed up for his second successive Derby Assembly Rooms’ panto by hooking up with Larry Lamb for this year’s production of Peter Pan.

The razor sharp comic had audiences crying with laughter in the pantomime Dick Whittington at Christmas, winning them over with his cheeky chappy sense of humour. He is certain to raise the comedy bar again this year as captain’s mate Smee.

Probably best known for presenting on The Big Breakfast and Channel 4’s Richard and Judy, Mike has had cameo appearances in The Office and Shameless.

He has a busy year ahead before arriving at the Assembly Rooms, travelling the world, fishing for piranhas, deep sea diving and sampling local cuisine in places like Peru, Ecuador and Mozambique for the Travel Channel in Essential.
