Horrible Histories on the rampage

Watch out for head-chopping Henry VIII and the amazing Charge of the Light Brigade as those Horrible Histories are on the rampage again.

As part of a national tour, two amazing stage shows, Terrible Tudors and Vile Victorians, will stomp into Derby Theatre from June 26-30.

Both shows use actors and amazing Bogglevision 3D special effects, helping the audience to feel what it was like to live in the 16th century, ruled by all those hideous Henries and the evil Elizabeth I, or in the 19th century struggling to survive the misery of the mines and those really rotten railways!

These two shows are adapted from Terry Deary’s best-selling Horrible Histories books, which are hugely popular both on the page and on television. The BBC TV series has this year won both the British Comedy Award for best TV Sketch show and the RTS Best Children’s TV programme.

Tickets are £14 and children £10. For more details, call the box office on 01332 593939.
